With the end of the 2017 lawmaking session two weeks away, the Missouri Chamber of Commerce will likely see accomplished its top two legislative priorities related to workers' compensation.
A bill that passed the House last week contains both priorities. Senate Bill 66 defines maximum medical improvement and toughens the burden of proof on workers attempting to persuade a judge that they were fired because of their workers' compensation claim status.
