The North Carolina Court of Appeals upheld an award of death benefits to the family of a worker who died from the combined effects of his prescription medications and an undiagnosed lung infection. Case: Brady v. Best Buy Co., No. COA17-315, 10/03/2017, unpublished. Facts: Eric Brady injured his back on June 9, 2010, while working as a delivery driver for Best Buy.
