A.M Best reported today that Highlands Insurance Group might file a petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code because of bank debt due at the end of the month and insurance subsidiary losses. The report came following a filing by Highlands with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
