New Penn. Medical Fee Schedule Available

The Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society is making available to its members copies of the state's newly effective medical fee schedule in paper form and on a compact disc. The society said a Jan. 1 update to the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers' Compensation fee schedule increases fees by 4.05%. Generally, medical fees are fixed at 171% of the 1994 Medicare rate, with the exception of new or updated procedure codes, according to the society.
