Judge Says Decisions in <i>Reesor</i> Apply Globally

The chief of Montana's workers' compensation court decided Wednesday that all rulings in the Dale Reesor v. Montana State Fund age- discrimination case will apply globally to all insurers and self-insurers. The rulings will apply, too, to cases that don't raise them. "My conclusion is compelled by the extraordinary nature of the common fund proceedings," Judge Mike McCarter wrote in a letter to attorneys involved in the Reesor case.
