A Connecticut man was arrested for collecting TTD benefits while working a side line job. Theodore J. Rahaim, 34, of Plainville, CT, claimed that on Oct. 18, 2001, while employed by Sterling Jewelers in Meriden, he tripped and injured his knee. He began collected TTD that eventually totaled $8,870 from Oct. 19, 2001 to Dec. 27, 2001.However, he was working at the time in the family business at DBK Family Jewelers in Plainville, said chief state’s attorney Christopher L.
