Court Notes IRS Increase in Mileage Reimbursement Rate

The Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Court noted the Internal Revenue Service announced an increase in the mileage reimbursement rate to $0.485 per mile effective Jan. 1. This is an increase from the $0.445 rate in effect for 2006, the court noted. A spokesman for the court reported that the state reimbursement rate to claimants is tied to the IRS rate.
