CorVel Credits Network Expansion with Income Gain

CorVel Corp. on Wednesday reported earnings of 51 cents per share in the third quarter of 2006, up 131% from per-share earnings of 22 cents for the same quarter of the prior year. Third quarter revenues were $67 million, comparable to revenues in the same quarter of 2005, the company said in a press release. CorVel said results in the quarter reflect ongoing strengthening of CorVel's Network Solutions as well as productivity gains in patient management services.
