A refinery blast that killed 15 and injured more than 100 at a Texas City refinery this year was the seventh fatal accident in a decade at a BP facility, the Houston Chronicle has reported.
Twenty-two people have died at BP plants -- more than one-fourth of all the refinery deaths nationwide, the Chronicle reported.
BP had been recently placed on an OSHA watch list when the Texas City refinery explosion occurred March 23. BP is the only major oil company on the list, an OSHA official told the newspaper.
