Forklift Driver Indicted for Allegedly Double Dipping

A Fort Worth, Texas forklift driver has been indicted for allegedly collecting $9,288 in workers' comp benefits he was not entitled to, Texas Mutual Insurance Co. announced Monday. The insurer said the Parker County grand jury returned an indictment against David Ray DeRusha. He reported a job-related injury while working as a forklift operator for Smith Temporaries. His doctor placed him in off-work status, and Texas Mutual began paying him workers' comp benefits.
