Two Sentenced in Ohio in Separate Fraud Cases

The Akron Beacon Journal reported two Ohio workers' compensation fraud cases last week:Eric McCray, 39, of Long Street was convicted of grand theft in Summit County Common Pleas Court for felony workers' compensation fraud. He was sentenced to restitution of more than $20,000 three years probation. Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation officials allege he was collecting total disability payments for industrial back, shoulder and neck injuries between 1988 and 1990 while working, driving a dump.
