Order Spells Out Responsibilities for DWC and TDI

AUSTIN -- Texas Insurance Commissioner Mike Geeslin has issued an order that spells out the responsibilities of the Texas Department of Insurance and the Division of Workers' Compensation under House Bill 7. The order was issued to comply with directives contained in the workers' compensation reform legislation. Geeslin issued the order (No. 05-0924) on Oct. 28 and posted it on the Insurance Department's Web site on Tuesday.
