Calif. DWC Contracts for Paperless WC Court System

California regulators plan to transform the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board into a paperless court system, where all documents would be stored as electronic images that can be assessed through the Internet by authorized users. The Division of Workers' Compensation on Nov. 13 entered into a $28.5 million contract with Deloitte Consulting in San Francisco to design the "Electronic Adjudication Management System," or EAMS.
