A Trotwood, Ohio, woman was sentenced to five years community service and ordered to pay back $29,335.89 for workers' compensation fraud, said the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (BWC).
Deborah Joiner, was sentenced Dec. 18 in Franklin County Common Pleas Court, according to bureau spokesman Jeremy Jackson. According to the bureau, Joiner suffered a scalp contusion and finger abrasion March 7, 1999, while working at the Montgomery County Developmental Center.
