The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA) Friday praised the decision of a National Conference Insurance Legislators (NCOIL) committee to postpone indefinitely consideration of model state legislation to regulate pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) activities.
The association reported the Health, Long-Term Care, and Health Retirement Issues Committee's decision "is important because it is an organization of state legislators whose primarily focus is on public policy issues involving insurance legislation and regulation."
