County Janitor Arrested, Charged With Claims Fraud

The San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office announced the arrest of a Victorville, Calif., man who worked as a janitor for the county and charged with him with workers' compensation fraud. Eddie Carodine, 57, of Victorville was booked on charges of insurance fraud and grand theft in connection with his workers' compensation claim, authorities said. San Bernardino County hired Carodine as a Custodian in January 1999. He reported an industrial injury to his right knee on Sept. 28, 2001. His claim was later amended to include both knees.
