Job Displacement Regs Effective Aug. 1

California's new supplemental job displacement benefit regulations have been approved by the Office of Administrative Law and will become effective on Aug. 1, the Division of Workers' Compensation announced Wednesday. The regulations implement the provisions of Assembly Bill 227, passed by the Legislature in 2003, that eliminated injured workers' entitlement to $16,000 in vocational rehabilitation benefits.
