Independent Contractors to be Studied in MT

A Montana Legislative committee will begin a study of independent contractors on Wednesday, pursuant to recently enacted Senate Bill 270, to determine whether exemptions from workers' compensation passed in 1987 are being abused. SB 270 (Sen.
