Doctor Speaking at Mo. Training Session Aug. 9

Dr. John Pessoney, associate medical director of Freeman OccuMed, will lead an in-depth discussion of the medical aspects of Missouri's new workers' compensation law at a luncheon meeting in Joplin on Tuesday, Aug. 9. The session will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joplin Museum Complex in Schifferdecker Park. The event is sponsored by Associated Industries of Missouri (AIM). The law will officially go into effect on August 28, 2005.
