The Ohio Ballot Board last week approved the language of a referendum backed by labor groups seeking to repeal legislative reforms to the state's workers' compensation system.
The ballot board approved language that instruct voters to check "no" if they want to prevent the bills passed by the Legislature from taking effect. According to the Akron Beacon Journal, labor groups and trail attorneys were seeking the ballot question to be worded that way because they know voters tend to reject complicated ballot measures.
The ballot question reads: "Shall certain measures ... to reform Ohio's work...
