A metals company in Beverly, Ohio, plans to contest a serious federal health and safety violation that was issued after a worker suffered fatal burns in June.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced in August that Globe Metallurgical would be issued a "serious" citation after an investigation into the June 23 death of employee Chris Bennett, 23. He died after being burned over 90% of his body while he cleaned a tap hole on a furnace, the Parkersburg News & Sentinel reported Wednesday.
