D.C. Hearing Set on ProAssurance Merger

The District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) has set a public hearing to consider the proposed merger between ProAssurance Corp. and NCRIC Group. The public hearing will be at 10 a.m. June 6 in the Old Council Chambers, 441 4th St. NW in the District of Columbia. ProAssurance and NCRIC announced in late February they had agreed to a transaction that would result in NCRIC becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of ProAssurance.
