Docs Skewer Proposed Med-Legal Fee Schedule

A California physicians group is protesting the Division of Workers' Compensation's proposed fee schedule for medical-legal reporting, saying a rough draft of proposed rules unveiled last week would lump simple reports with complicated ones under the same fee code. The California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery posted a 22-page position paper on the proposed fee schedule on its Web site this week.
