Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski gave notice this week that he may veto a bill that would direct a study on whether chiropractors should be allowed to act as "attending physicians" for workers' compensation claims, the Statesman-Journal newspaper reported.
Under a 1988 change to the Oregon Constitution, the governor must give a five-day notice before he vetoes any bill, although he has no obligation to actually veto the measures once he gives notice.
