Rajant Corp. said Tuesday it teamed with Sanmina-SCI and Hannah Engineering to make the first wireless call from 1,000 feet deep in a Pennsylvania coal mine to multiple outside extensions amid continuing complaints that wireless technology has not kept pace with new federal safety regulations.
