Rhode Island employers who fail to carry workers' compensation insurance may now face felony charges, including up to two years in prison and $10,000. SB 626 was approved by the House Labor Committee on Wednesday, and will now face a full vote. The bill came from the Senate, which approved the measure on June 19.
