Five Tampa-area clinic owners were arrested Friday and a sixth was wanted for "selling" patients to diagnostic facilities that billed insurers thousands of dollars, according to Florida's insurance chief.
"This crime costs Florida's hardworking families every time they pay their insurance premiums," Tom Gallagher said. "It also jeopardizes the care the patients get when they are sold to the highest bidder."
