Fifteen bills relating to workers' compensation have been filed in the Texas Legislature since the 140-day session began Jan. 9 according the Insurance Council of Texas.
The measures and sponsor, along with links to the bills, include:

The bill would prohibit kickbacks (including cash, tickets to sports events or other incentives) for peer reviews, case management services or other services by provider case managers or attorneys to third party administrators for referrals.
