Nichirin Tennessee Receives State Safety Award

Nichirin Tennessee, Inc., will receive the SHARP (Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program) Award for Workplace Safety and Health at 1:00 p.m. today in a ceremony at the facility, 1620 Old Belfast Road, in Lewisburg. John Winkler, adminstrator of the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration, will present the award. The SHARP award, designed for smaller employers with fewer than 250 workers in high-hazard industrial classifications, is one of Tennessee's top honors for workplace safety and health.
