Zenith National Insurance Corp. (NYSE:ZNT) yesterday reported operating income after tax of $1.7 million, or $0.09 per share, for the second quarter of 2001 compared with an operating loss after tax of $17.9 million, or $1.04 per share, for the second quarter of 2000.
