MIOSHA Honors Northern Concrete Pipe

Northern Concrete Pipe of Bay City received a "Gold Award" for its outstanding safety and health record to become the first "high-hazard industry" to win the award at two locations. The plant has operated more than 1,050 days without a lost-time accident. Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) Director Doug Kalinowski presented the award to William Washabaugh Sr., president, and Tim Phillips, director of safety.
