Northern Concrete Pipe of Bay City received a "Gold Award" for its outstanding safety and health record to become the first "high-hazard industry" to win the award at two locations.
The plant has operated more than 1,050 days without a lost-time accident.
Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) Director Doug Kalinowski presented the award to William Washabaugh Sr., president, and Tim Phillips, director of safety.
The company's Lansing facility also has qualified for the Gold Award.
