A strip club that carried no workers' compensation insurance must pay a dancer who was hurt during her performance, the Indiana Court of Appeals held in a published opinion.
The state Workers' Compensation Board had awarded dancer Angela Hobson benefits after she reported a neck and shoulder injury in December 2001. Hobson filed a claim after undergoing surgery the following month for a herniated disc.
