A Monmouth County, N.J., pharmacist has been sentenced to prison for a prescription fraud that cost Medicaid nearly $290,000, the state attorney general's office announced.
Essex County Superior Court Judge Michael Ravin on Dec. 28 sentenced Milton Barasch, 75, of Aberdeen to four years in state prison. Barasch is the third of four defendants to be sent to prison.
His pharmacist license also was suspended for one year and he is barred from the Medicaid Program for eight years.
