A New Hampshire state senator has called for the attorney general's office to investigate union complaints that a Hilton Inn construction project in Portsmouth is misclassifying workers as independent contractors. State Sen. Martha Fuller Clark, D-Portsmouth, late last week formally requested the state's attorney general to investigate the contractors of the Hilton Garden Inn, the Portsmouth Herald reported.
