An Encinitas, CA man was arraigned as a result of an investigation by the California Department of Insurance Criminal Investigations Branch's Fraud Division.
James Charles Isbell, 38, was charged with seven counts of insurance fraud and one count of grand theft. Isbell, if convicted, could face up to five years in state prison and/or a maximum fine of $50,000. The San Diego County District Attorney's Office is prosecuting the case.
