An employee cannot file a civil suit against an insurance company for injuries suffered because the carriers delayed medical payments, the Kentucky Supreme Court ruled in a decision released Friday.
In Kentucky Employers Mutual Insurance v. Coleman, 2006-SC-000608-MR, 08/23/2007, the justices found that exclusive remedy barred the claim.
