Cheating Councilman Put Behind Bars for Year

A former Central City, Ky., councilman was sentenced last week to prison after bilking the federal workers' compensation system for four years. Danny Miller received a 15-month sentence after pleading guilty in September in U.S. District Court in Owensboro. He admitted to bilking the federal government out of workers' compensation benefits over a four-year period, according to an Associated Press report.
