Aetna Announces Alternative to SDI

Aetna Inc. has announced the release of a self-insured alternative to the California's state disability program (SDI). Innovative Care Systems Inc. (ICS), a third-party administrator based in Torrance, Calif., will administer the voluntary short-term disability plan and it will be coordinated with supplemental short-term and long-term disability coverage underwritten and administered by Aetna.
