CA Governor Gray Davis vetoed SB 1176 yesterday.In a short veto statement to the State Senate, Gov. Davis stated that SB 1176 was "overly broad".SB 1176 sought to bring a presumption of industrial injury to a peace officer employed by the Department of Fish and Game, Department of Parks & Recreation or the Department of Toxic Substances Control who develops cancer.
