Fork Truck Instructor Training Slated in St. Paul

The Minnesota Safety Council announced Fork Truck Instructor Development Training will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 13 at the Minnesota Safety Council Resource Center, 474 Concordia Ave., St. Paul.The council notes that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's General Industry Standard 1910.178 (1) states that "only trained and authorized operators shall be permitted to operate a powered industrial truck" and that methods are to be devised for training operators.
