A multi-state Midwestern alliance was formed Thursday among federal and state OSHA offices and the Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry, which is involved in the manufacture of spray-on bed liners.
API is a business unit of the American Plastics Council, which focuses on reducing and preventing exposure to hazardous substances for workers employed in the spray application of protective truck bed liners.
Federal OSHA in Illinois, Ohio and Wisconsin, along with OSHAs in Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota agreed to participate.
