The Workers' Compensation Research Institute (WCRI) out of Cambridge, MA, has created a new tool to track medical price inflation - the WCRI Medical Price Index for Workers' Compensation (MPI-WC).
Just like the federal government's Consumer Price Index (CPI), the MPI-WC helps public policymakers and business decision makers annually track medical price trends and evaluate the effectiveness of public policy initiatives, says WCRI.
