Napa Winery Insisting Laborers Be Tested

A Napa Valley winery is insisting on the right to make fieldworkers pass a physical test as a condition of employment, but members of the United Farm Workers (UFW) have protested the move as discriminatory toward older workers. The United Farm Workers representatives say they are concerned that the testing will be used to weed out older workers at Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena, the Napa Valley Register reported.
