Idaho Commission Publishes Temporary Medical Fee Rule

The Idaho Industrial Commission published a proposed temporary rule dealing with medical fees under the state's workers' compensation law. The rule, effective April 1, proposes using the Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) and the Relative Value Unit (RVU) assigned for all medical services with a Physicians' Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code. A conversion factor for various categories of CPT coded services is proposed.
