Mediator Promoted to Judicial Director

Virginia L. Crocker, a former state workers' compensation commissioner and state legislator, was named judicial director of the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission. Crocker was serving as a deputy commissioner assigned to help with a pilot mediation program launched by the agency last year to reduce case backlogs prior to the promotion.
