The Louisiana Department of Labor wants students, parents and employers to make the grade this school year when it comes to knowing the facts about the state's child-labor laws. "Employers and parents should know there are age-specific regulations that affect when and how long minors can work," said LDOL Assistant Secretary of Regulatory Services Marianne Sullivan, whose office enforces these laws.
