Radio commercials will be airing this week on 40 Oklahoma stations as state officials try to boost participation in an accident-prevention program that is credited with lowering workers' compensation costs for state businesses.
The 30-second ads are intended to spread awareness and participation in the Safety Pays OSHA Consultation program. It has helped Oklahoma companies to reduce workers' compensation costs dramatically since its inception nearly 10 years ago, according to Labor Commissioner Brenda Reneau.
