Republic Reports Continued Earning Growth in Q3

Republic Companies Group Inc. on Thursday reported revenues of $79.5 million and net income of $8.3 million for the third quarter of 2006. Shareholders' equity was $175.8 million as of Sept. 30. Republic's revenues of $79.5 million for the third quarter represent an increase of 20.8% when compared with the third quarter of 2005. Net income for the third quarter of 2006 was $8.3 million compared with $4.3 million in the third quarter of 2005.
