Aon Corp., the nation's second-largest insurance brokerage, has reportedly reached a tentative settlement to a $38 million class action lawsuit mere days after settling a separate $190 million insurance probe.
An article in yesterday's Business Insurance announced that a Cook County Circuit Court judge gave preliminary approval to a settlement reached after Aon was accused of breaching its fiduciary duty. The brokerage allegedly collected contingent commissions from insurers without telling its clients about them.
