Davis Reappoints Darrel Thacker to CHSWC

The Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation (CHSWC) has announced that Darrel "Shorty" Thacker, a member of the Commission since 1996, has been reappointed to CHSWC by Governor Gray Davis to represent organized labor. Mr. Thacker is the Central District Manager for the Northern California Council of Carpenters’ Regional Council, a position he has held since 2000. From 1983 to 1997, Mr. Thacker was the Director of Field Support for the Bay Counties District Council of Carpenters.
